I met Mike at the house to talk about some changes to our ductwork in the attic and he was great talking it through with me as we tried to figure out a better way. After some exchange of ideas we finally figured out a nice solution to get the proper airflow we need through the system but also position the ductwork in the attic so it rests as high as we could get it in the enclosure room up there and looks neat and professional. Overall it was a great brainstorming session and I also appreciated Mike’s patience with me as I asked different questions to try and figure it out. Which we did. It’s nice when two minds come together to solve a unique challenge which is what we did! Thanks Mike!

Boiler or Ductless options for replacement. Inspected boiler and did not see any signs of leakage. Boiler is a Peerless oil summer/winter boiler . Power venter was just installed 2 days ago. Oil tank has some rusting. Recommend installing ductless for now. Recommended to install Mitsubishi with air handler in attic space and 1 wall unit for first floor for now. Possibly add a 2nd wall unit for sunroom that would be independent. I need to perform some calculations and will follow up with proposal.
Performed QA on Trane Gas Furnace Install. Tested system in low and high stage heating. Measured combustion and gas pressures for system. Tested the wet switch safety. Tested the humidifier and condensation pump operation. Reviewed programming on furnace. Completed checklist form in system. Homeowners had questions about the type of filter to use. Also they are thinking about replacing the water heater. It is a 75 Gallon Natural Gas PowerVent that is from 1/2013. Talked to the, about the options of replacing with another PowerVent versus a Tankless. Will provide different estimates for replacement. There water heater is currently working and it is not leaking at this time.
Performed QA on Trane Furnace/Heat Pump system. Tested system in heating and cooling modes. Performed combustion testing and measured gas pressures. Checked the refrigerant charge in the link app. Tested the wet switch and ez trap safeties. Poured water through the condensate drain and check drain pipe connections. Reviewed all programming on system. Completed checklist form in system. No additional follow up is needed.
